Math and Science

Welcome to the Austin Science Building, home to the science and math departments. Call us nuts, but we take pride in hard work and long hours and have built an ongoing community of good friends and dedicated students and faculty.

Faculty and students often meet for informal conversation and debate or celebrations outside of class. Students work closely with faculty and with each other, forming friendships that last long past the years at Lake Erie College. We even travel together on college-sponsored study tours!

We welcome you to join us and pursue the challenge of our programs of study in biology, chemistry, environmental science or mathematics.  You’ll be glad you did!
