Early Childhood Education Licensure Program

LICENSURE OPTIONS:

There are 3 options for students interested in an early childhood license with the State of Ohio:

Post-Baccalaureate Option (Post-Bac)

This option allows anyone with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution to earn a PreK-3rd teaching license within 2 years. As a post-bac you are only required to take courses required for the license. You are also required to pass the state Ohio Assessment for Educators (OAE) exam to earn a license.
