The National Alumni Board (NAB) of Lake Erie College proudly presents its annual fundraising event, Seas the Day, on Saturday, March 4, 2017. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Arthur S. Holden Center and tickets are required.
Though it will be held on campus, Seas the Day invites you to escape the winter cold in your favorite beach attire for an evening of food, fun and entertainment. Guests are invited to delight themselves and their taste buds by trying different flavors of wine with wine tastings, try their luck at the silent auction and the Chinese auction, and complete the evening with live entertainment that is sure to make a memorable night!
“We are so happy to present Seas the Day, with its welcome themes of sun, water, and vibrant color,” said Liz McMahon ’74, event co-chair and member of the NAB. “The dreariness of this winter makes everyone long for spring, and we are happy to deliver the energy of live music, great food, terrific prizes, and the good company our guests have come to expect.”
With its standard creative small plate and chef presentation stations, the event’s creative menu this year salutes four oceans of the world – Pacific, Adriatic, Caribbean and Indian – with dishes highlighting flavors and tastes of those areas. The evening’s savory food will be prepared by the chefs of Metz, Abigail Petry and Laszlo Tomaschek.
Tickets for Seas the Day are $60 and must be purchased by Tuesday, February 28. Tickets may be purchased via check, credit card by phone, or online at https://www.lec.edu/seastheday. Please make checks payable to Lake Erie College and mail to the LEC Office of Institutional Advancement at 391 West Washington Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
