If you are interested in study abroad, please speak with Eric Evans erevans@lec.edu and your faculty adviser about how CAPA, Sant'Anna or another program that is a possible fit with your academic and career goals.
 
In terms of paperwork, the best place to begin would be the Study Abroad Registration Form to inform a conversation with faculty about possible course equivalency.

Sant'Anna Institute

Sant’Anna Institute organizes study abroad programs in partnership with Lake Erie College.

They offer:
  • semester and short-term study abroad programs
  • faculty-led and customized group programs
  • internships for academic credit
  • service learning and community engagement projects

Sant’Anna Institute provides undergraduate students with the best international experience. Students get to live in a foreign country while improving their linguistic and cross-cultural communication skills providing a perspective that encourages greater opportunities in the world community and enhances the student’s outlook in multiple ways.

Other options are available through partnerships with Hartpury College (Equine Studies and Sports Management), International Studies Institute in Florence, Accademia Italiana in Salerno (Italian Studies), Sant’Anna Institute in Sorrento (Italian Studies),  Umbra Institute in Perugia ( Italian Studies) and Panrimo (French Studies) and Arcadia (French Studies). LEC FACULTY-LED STUDY TOURS

Lake Erie College faculty also offer Study Tours that include semester long courses linked to 1-2 week trips abroad. This is an excellent way to experience other cultures and international travel in a shorter time frame.
